Feet on the Street – Success; it’s a journey, not a destination.
I recently read this, and it really resonated:
“Success is never owned.
It is rented.
And rent is due every day.”
It’s never a one person show.
This always bears repeating.
Success transcends all aspects of life.
In your career, how often have we heard “He/She’s very successful!” Quite a bit. And there’s nothing wrong with it. Who doesn’t want to be successful? It’s the thinking that’s too narrow. Your mind automatically goes to business or the house you buy. Our lives are filled with important accomplishments that are worthy of this title. Parenting, caring for family members, practicing healthy habits, friendship, giving back and so much more are examples of real success.
“We’re never going to summit the mountaintop”
That’s the beauty of success. It’s an opportunity and journey that awaits us every day. It can be measured anyway you want. From minutes to years. For 2025 and beyond, set and write down meaningful goals for yourself. Goals that really resonate, even if it’s just one. Work on them every week and watch yourself continue to grow and learn. That is success, your success.
